    That would be a field of technical drawing of which I'm unqualified to comment on, Larry!

    As far as an artistic viewpoint goes, isometric drawings are unrealistic while perspective drawings are more like we see life with our eyes.

    True Gare but isometric drawings do have their place and can look real good.

    Oh, without question, Larry.

    And one of my first design projects to sharpen my drawing program skills years and years ago (and years ago!) was to draw isometric projections of common objects.

    Before DaVinci, Filippo Brunelleschi had been experimenting with perspective, and before him, most drawings were "flat" projections, such as wall paintings in Egypt and illuminated religious papers.
