First bit of decent mist

First bit of decent mist this Autumn, so I dragged the dog and a camera out onto the inevitable canal walk way. Its amazing how the mist seems to acentuate the colours, its not really anything I've done.

Having enjoyed the colour present in the Autumnal mist I decided to reduce it to a post apocalyptic scene and turn the mist to ash and dust. Might be a reaction to the cold I caught wondering around in the fog yesterday.

Very moody and dramatic. The mist (fog) makes all the colors less saturated and more subtle.

I adjusted the shade curve just to see what would happen. Interesting otherworldly effect.

Those are lovely Derek. I like the second one the best, as well as the wonderful moody atmosphere the viewer is presented with a choice of two paths to take and imagine what each one leads to.
