It's been months since I've had time to play with XaraX. The attached image started out as practice with quickshapes and contours. What started as a star morphed into something that reminded me of a beachball pattern. Which naturally lead to adding a little of this and a little of that to make this result.

    Hi Soquili,

Like the colors on the beach ball. The shadow needs a little work. I think you need to feather the edges.

It could make for a nice beach scene, with the ball as the focal point. How about a couple of more toys in the foreground, some seagulls in the distance, and a little sailing boat in the back? Oh, yeah, a frosty bottle of beer always looks good on the beach also!

    Thanks for sharing, Soquili.

--- I'm married, and a frosty German beer is as good as it gets. Babes are over-rated... Or that's what I'm trying to tell myself.

Thanks John, Gary, and Risto for taking time you view my doodle and comment.

John, the shadow is rather hard edged isn't it. I'll work on that.

Gary, it does look a little like Mikey's robes in Fantasia :-)

Risto, more toys, gulls, boat, and beer will have to wait until I have more free time ;-)
