Default Twelve step process display, text rather than graphics

I am rather new to Xara Web Designer MX Premium and I'm tearing my hair out trying to do something that should (in my mind at least) be very simple.

I have a twelve step process that I'd like to explain. Each step is two or three sentences of text, possible accompanied by a small graphic. The text is the focus here, not the graphic. I don't want to list the twelve steps as one, but display each in turn, ideally with a button press for forward/backwards, and with an auto slide after a five/ten second delay as default. The effect can be seen on this website http://www.phenom-networks.co.uk/

On this website the panel immediately below the menu bar will slide left/right when the Prev/Next buttons are selected, and also does so automatically after a five second delay.

I've previously raised this topic as http://www.talkgraphics.com/showthre...Slider-Widgets and the help and advice that I received led to a discussion on various photo slider options. But I don't want the graphic to be the focus, I want the text, ideally in a semi transparent way using the theme colours. So use of photo slider code and widgets doesn't seem to be the solution. An ideal solution might be twelve layers, one for each process step, each supplanting the previous layer.

Is there a smart way to achieve this?

A presentation might be better suited to what you are asking.

These can work just like a website but with more features and a slightly different set up.

In the Help menu, go to Search and key in Presentations.

The the Designs Gallery there is a Presentation folder that contains pre-designed presentations that you can modify. There are also Presentation objects that you can use to design your own presentation.

Thanks again. I can see where you are coming from.

To test this I created a presentation and placed it in a sub-directory of my website. I then used the "Embed a Website" widget to insert an Iframe into my website page and linked the iframe to the URL of my presentation subdirectory. Now when I display the website page I get an embed of the presentation which I can scroll through. (Thanks to http://www.talkgraphics.com/showthre...t=presentation ). I need the iframe as I need the steps embedded in the page as demonstrated in http://www.phenom-networks.co.uk/

So this does provide a solution, of sorts, but it is clunky. It is a step forward though.

I still live in hope that an HTML/Script-based solution using layers etc is possible as this will be more flexible and elegant. Does your answer pointing me in the direction of presentations imply that my preferred solution is not possible?
