Flash doesn't play.

I have created a flash animation file. I previewd the file after I created it. I then exported it to an *swf file. I then dragged and dropped it into my web page. I saved my web page. Then I previewed it. What I saw was the last slide of the animation, and no animation played. The above steps that I took are in accordance with the directions, and the directions said I should see the animation play when I preview my web page, however it does not. Does anyone know if there is a fix for this?

Have you dragged and dropped the SWF file directly into a browser and checked that it does actually play?
