Thanks John, this is so simple to do I don't think it is worth the bother to create a script.

If you've got lots of objects on the edge of your fill or your rectangle has odd dimensions, you can set the duplicating distance via Utilities > Options > General to the x dimension and then the y dimension of your rectangle. Select each edge object and CTRL-D it to the other side.
