    Hi all,

Way back when (6-8 months ago), G. Bouton suggested a good newbie 3D app to D-load, called Adobe Dimensions. That's as far as I got with it. I d-loaded it but couldn't install it properly. I just wouldn't launch completely. I'd get the splash screen and that was it. I'd get an error message. I got tired of it so I tried un-installing. It wouldn't let me do that either. So, there it sits on my H-disk going on 6 months or so, doing squat. I'm reluctant to just drag the program folder to the bin for obvious reasons as well. Not too concerned about the space it's taking right now. Just have to wait 'til I reformat.

Curious if anyone else had this problem with this Demo(?) I have Photoshop and love it. I couldn't earn my bucks without it right now.

    Stu,

good idea - would mean at least a nice income. However, I won't work for Macromedia either - a company with a lousy support is not worth my input!

    RJ...
Here bud, checkout this FREE version of Strata 3D Pro (basic) -- Strata 3Dbase

NOTE: check their site for tutes, manuals, etc.

AD3 is very limited, and the above app will give you more power and control if you should ever want/need it.

    Hey Jens?!...
Man it sounds like you'll like the new article i'm writing for "GraphicsNews.com". I talk about alternative apps to buy instead of the 'high-end' ones most popular in the Web Design field. Covers 2D - vector & raster, 3D, & html apps.

Look for it real soon at that site; i'm just tidying up a few things before final submission. No big revalations or anything... just trying to bring this subject into the light with folks.
