Sorry Jim, I don't know an answer for you. Hopefully one of our other PSP users can help.

Well that was fun. I finally did an uninstall with a product called Revo Uninstaller which uninstalls and also looks for registry entries etc. to remove. Then did a re-install from the CD which went fine. Problem was a .jpg that was sent to me to look at and it would give a memory error and crash PSP, even in Manage mode. Don't know why it was happening, but I quit and just deleted it. Thanks Bill.

Jim, have you registered with Corel on their website?
Your purchase history remains recorded, which includes activation keys.
I don't know how serious your crash was, but you could also do a less hazardous-to-your-health trick:
Restart PSP holding the Shift key down, this generates a message that informs you PSP will revert to it's default settings.
You can then re-load a saved Worskpace (if you havesaved one).
You will need to reset some Preferences though as the saved Workspace doesn't save those.
