I am not 100% certain, but I think you have to publish the blog separately then add it to your page in an iframe.

There is an Embed a Website widget that makes this pretty easy. It's in the Designs Gallery > Page Elements > Other Widgets folder.

If you want a hassle free way of doing it I would suggest a separate folder for your blog and install wordpress on it and then link to the blog from the website I did this with a site I have just done www.halliemakeupandstyling.com and it is a good option because the page is dynamic and will grow and shrink with the content of the blog, whereas with an embedded blog in an iframe you will get scroll bars and they do not look nice or professional.

Is your website created using word press?
Because you website and blog page looked identical, for at least top menu concerned.

yesterday while browsing, I found a site http://zbeanztech.com with blog. I want to achieve same for my website too. Any ideas for this kind of set up?

Zesty Beans is a site built with Drupal. It is a PHP-driven site with an SQL back-end.

Not achievable with Xara (or other WYSIWYG) web builders.

I had to search for this. There is a forum user that has built a CMS specifically for Xara. It might do what you need.

Do run through the demo. I have not ever used it.

Esskay, I built the site with xara webdesigner but the blog part is in wordpress, I tried to make the wordpress match the main site the best I could.

Does it have to be Joomla/Wordpress, would it matter if you used Blogger? That one embeds easily into your site and is obviously automatically updated by your blog. Wordpress does not embed.

You can certainly have blogger or tumblr but it is not an elegant solution, you will have scroll bars as the page length does not change dynamically and if you click a link such as 'about' on the page it will not allow you to link within an iframe, whereas with the wordpress solution you do not have to worry about the scroll bars or anything like that.
