Remove white background behind logo

i am trying to remove the white behind my logo so i can have the background image behind it and i cannot seem to figure it out
any help will be appreciated, i am using the trial version of xara web designer mx

ive moved it to the web designer forum where you should get program specific help

Select the Live Effects Tool (The red electrical plug icon). Click New and in the drop down list, see if you have a copy of Mehdi > Eraser Classic. You can use this to drop out the white from your logo.
