How to change Horizontal Navigation Bar- Just Text on white background

Hi - Any tips on how to change the horizontal navigation bar so that it is just text on a white background. When I drag a nav bar from the design gallery, that's fine but I don't want a coloured background. The background to the webpage is white also. Any advice appreciated.

You will have to create you own plain text navbar rather than edit one from the Designs Gallery.

[1] Type your text object, eg: PRODUCTS
[2] Create a rectangle object sized to cover the text object
[3] Make the rectangle 100% transparent and send to back
[4] Group the text object with the transparent rectangle
[5] Go to Arrange>>Create Navbar

If you want a mouseover state you will need to copy the text object to the clipboard then select the mouseover layer and paste-in-place (Ctrl+Shift+V)

Any idea why the Page & Layer Gallery tool bar to the right has disappeared?

Press F10 should bring it up.

F10 does bring up the Design Gallery, but still can't see the rest of the side toolbar - layer gallery etc...

Any ideas?

No, it brings up the Page & Layer Gallery

For the side bar:

Utilities>>Galleries>>Fly-out bar

Hi again

when scrolling over the nav bar, I'd like to be able to change to a colour when mousing over, but so far am unable to do this? I had created a nav bar out of a white background as recommended below.

Any suggestions?
