You certainly manage to turn what could easily be mundane snaps, into atmospheric images.
So impressive I find I keep returning to it for another look.
Was the dog removal done with the clone tool?

Photoshop Elements Clone Tool I'm afraid as I was also using the Clone and Spot Healing brush to remove a bit of rubbish off the grass at the same time.
I was already in Elements as I used that for the black and white conversion while boosting the contrast and overlaying a film grain texture.
Original rather flat snap attached.
