Here is a 4x4 xar template with a 4x4 png generated by photoshop

If I drag the file from the desktop to the program window I get the results I talked about.

Edit: ahh, it appears that the web interface automatically resize the file, it shouldn't be to hard to reproduce though.

We’ve released updates for Xara Designer Pro X and Xara Photo & Graphic Designer MX today, version 8.1.1.22437. Note that the product name for the latter has now changed to Xara Photo & Graphic Designer 2013.

Updating

To update your installation, simply run the program and it will automatically identify an update if available. Alternatively use the "Update program" facility in the program Help menu. Note you need to have unlocked AND registered your program for the update to work.

The 8.1.1 update includes:

- The Color select/erase tool now only shows color selection indicators on selected objects, rather than on all photos with color selections.
- A prompt is now shown when cutting a whole page, to prevent accidental cutting of pages (Ctrl+X or Backspace with no objects selected).
- Various other bug fixes and minor improvements
- Help updates

That didn't work - a 4 inch 300dpi square is 1200 pixels and thats too big - the system has reduced it - sorry but can you post it up zipped?

Marc - attached is my 300dpi 4 inch square created in PS CS6 - it drags into your xar template at 4 inches on my system ok - I've zipped the file so the TG system does not mess with it
