Error copying locked bitmap effects.

I have had a fairly consistent fault copying locked bitmap effects from Pro v.7 to Pro X. This has happened when copying pages, layers or the bitmap effect object. It seems to cause file instability. It has caused shutdown errors and loss of file contents on reopening.

just for clarity do you mean copy and paste

and are these locked bitmaps created with xara default live effects, or custom live effects you have installed , or created in some other way...?

Yes, copy and paste. They are from xara default live effects. It does not cause the program to crash immediately on copy and paste, but soon thereafter errors start occurring.

To clarify, they are files created in Pro 7, but opened in Pro X. So the copy and paste is taking place within Pro X.
