Web MX isn't showing page and layer gallery

I pulled up one of my projects from a bit ago and for some reason the page and layer gallery is not showing up. I checked to see if they are selected and it says they are. I also tried to unselect the page and layer gallery icons but they are lock on the selected position and still don't display what page or layer I'm on. Any suggestions? Is there some update that happened that I am unaware of? Or a way to rest the settings and menus of Web designer MX?

never mind I just found out that unchecking the "flyout bar" that the other galleries become available.
