Default Web Designer MX "HTMLBlockText" Problem

    Hi all.

I was wondering why in Web Designer MX and Designer Pro X, the 'HTMLBlockText' command makes all the text group together and ignores paragraphs? When I used this in Designer Pro 7 it still kept the paragraphs and spacings. See attatched images for a better explanation...

I can't reproduce that, could you provide a cut down version of your web doc that this happens with please?

Ah nevermind, I see it. It happens in DPX but not in WDPMX.

Thanks for the Prompt response guys! Pete Im pretty sure it happens in both WDMX & DPX? Its frustrating because that is the only thing stopping me fully migrating! Such a small thing but I do use it every now and then, and when I do its essential!

Sorry Pete! I've just tested, and you're partially right! It does not format the paragraphs and keeps the correct spacing, but all the text is formatted. If you have 2 different fonts it reverts to a single font even when not using the css function? Most strange.

This topic still seems to be an issue even with the latest update? The 'HTMLBlockText' function still does not display the text 100% as the original, the font types are the same but the spacing is still off? Any ideas?

this is also a tiny bugbear of mine but as for it stopping you buying the full product...
