New Registry Setting for Turning Off the Auto Docking of Galleries ?

Does anyone know the new setting for this.
It is no longer Options:Galleries:HarderToDock.

The registry entry only did anything with the old gallery docking mechanism. When the docking system was improved (version 7 or was it 6?) it no longer had any effect. It has now been removed.

With the new docking system, it is effectively always harder to dock as you have to drop onto the arrow icons to make it dock.

So there is no way to turn off the docking?

yes - just click on the top of the gallery and drag it out - okay you need to do this seperately for each gallery I think - but they will stay undocked until you choose to redock them AFAIK

you willl have to pin the gallery first - you cannot drag it out otherwise [at least I can't]

OK getting things sorted out. The fly-out galleries work pretty well.
Just an old dog trying to learn some new tricks. I am still on v6.

It has now been removed. IOW: Since WDMX / DPX
Which is what I thought your original question was about.
