Sorry Steve. I wasn't saying that it was you.

I am just stunned that the reason is 'easier, quicker access'. How can that be, when you can drag those icons out from the Button Pallet?
How on earth can that be the reason?

Anyway, the button is not there, and that's that, so let's move on.

Not sure about your copy but mine is right where it used to be.

Except as sledger pointed out, both buttons are there now side-by-side instead of in the drop down.

its indicative of the level of marketing pitch Rik - it goes hand in hand with messages along the lines of 'this image would be better compressed as a JPG file' - like chuff, its art for drawing that I import not a @$% photo for the web

Thanks Gary, but that's not my question.

I am asking where this icon is?Name: web fly out.png

If I wanted the separate buttons, I can easily drag them from the Button Pallet.

I don't want the separate buttons, as you show in your post.
OK. It's not a life or death situation but for me, to set things up the way I want, I need that button.

All I'm saying is that there are loads of 'flyouts', why take this one away???

rik - could you just add the buttons to an exiting flyout - a short one you wouldn't otherwise use - and ignore the other buttons on there if they can't be deleted?

OK, then. How about here. Or do you mean you want the old drop down two-step approach.

I genuinely appreciate you taking the time to have a look and reply, Gary.

Yes. I need the old drop down two-step approach.

What was good about it, was that I could move my mouse onto the button (as shown below) and click on it and this gave me the first option on the flyout.

If I clicked where I've shown the mouse pointer, this gave me the 'Preview current web page' option. The first one on the flyout.
So, you could do this without actually going to the first button on the flyout.

Then, if I wanted the 'Export and preview website', I simply clicked on the last icon.

It was great and worked brilliantly.

There are 12 flyouts in DPX.
Would another one have hurt the programme that much???

I tried to do what you suggested, Steve. But, I couldn't.

In any case, if I could add it to another flyout, I don't think it would work the way I explained in Post #17.

    Great idea though, Steve.

You could always just press F5 for web site preview of SHIFT+F5 to preview webpage.
I find that the most ergonomic method.

best I could get is as attached [ok I got it the other way round ] - seem to need to reset bars to remove them [which resets all bar settings of course]

I much prefer keystrokes for some operations and buttons for others, maybe I can only remember so many keystrokes but I think ergonomics plays a part in balancing both - some operations using tablet with right hand and buttons, some operations using keystrokes with lefthand, quicker and smoother working than just doing everything the one way
