I remember a while back some angel posts.

This started as an abstract blend. When I got the wing look, I wanted to see what else I could do with blends. All objects are ovals and blends with a touch of transpantcy for the arm joints.

I like it a lot - very effective.

Did you create a brush for the wings or just multiple blends.

It is a splendid image. The wings don't seem to fit the figure though? Maybe if there was more of a color transition. Or perhaps if there was a transparent skin over the wings that used the same flesh colors.

On the other hand, there is a kind of science fiction or surreal quality to the wings.

No brushes, just blends and multiple blends.

Have yet to get in to brushes - even though some fantastic work has been done with them.

Tried a brush for the trees in my previous post (landscape) but half the trees were at strange angles!
