    Walking in London recently, I saw a Quickshape on the pavement! These coalhole covers are still all over London - Victorian relics of when coal was shot through them into the cellars below. Surprisingly few of them have any form of handle (unlike manhole covers) so they must have been levered up. They have wonderfully individual and intricate patterns. As children we made rubbings of them with brown paper and wax crayons. With this one, I've used artistic licence and dedicated it to my youngest grandson.....Penny
