Using IE 5.5 (windows version) three features that I often use don't seem to work:

    1) saving a picture right-clicking the mouse and
    2) seeing the source code of the pages.
    3) The "edit" command under file menu is disabled too.

For some reason, the browser seems to be corrupt at least for these two features. And I do often use them! Yet it is still possible to copy-paste the pics to a graphics editor and save them, and I can also save the page to see the code later. But these are only workarounds!

I would greatly appreciate any help.

    Thanks in advance.

Me too, I have IE5.5, and I do not have the same problems you have. I only can't see the code from a frames page.
I mostly browse with Opera as it is faster, and it does not keep extremely well hidden track of all your movements on the Web (these secret files get fatter and fatter). It also gives me the opportunity to see the code of frames pages. The only disadvantage it has, is that it is VERY strict about the w3 norms, and lots of sites don't display as one is used to view them in IE5.5.

So you may want to re-install 5.5. Perhaps, before you do so, clean up the temp and temp int files, and ctrl+alt+del close all running progs except systray and explorer.
    Success!

If you don't work against time, time often works for you.
