Web Designer MX 8 Premium bugs

I have found two possible bugs, I am currently using the trial version of Web Designer MX Premium.

• Trial version loses days I extended the trial to 30 days but when I opened it up it only showed 24, I closed the program and opened it again and it showed 21 days remaining
• mouse wheel scrolling doesnt work to scroll up and down, only for zooming in and out.

There is no bug, you need to define your preference in Options.

Frances make sure you have not accidentally selected zoom for the mouse wheel in Utilities > Options > Mouse.

EDIT: Steve is just too fast on the posts for me.

Already checked that With zoom checked it zooms in and out as expected, with scroll up/down selected it does nothing. (and yes I am hitting apply to apply the settings )

Frances do you have XaReg 1.4.4.0? If you do verify that the Mouse Wheel Zoom does not have a check mark.

Did you run the program as administrator? It is possible you did not have permission to change the registry setting.

What kind of mouse are you using? And do you have this problem with other versions?

I used to have that happen with a Microsoft OPtical mouse and so I switched to a Logitech wireless mouse.

I have run the program as an administer, and I do have a Microsoft mouse, but it works fine with my older versions. I checked using the latest version of XaReg and there is no check in the zoom with mouse wheel box.

Now I wonder how many days will be gone on my trial when I open the program again.

It could be an install problem that has affected the days on the trial and the mouse wheel. Have you tried an uninstall and reinstall? This should not affect the days remaining on the trail.

Well now it's down to 17 days so I'll un install and re install and see what happens Stay tuned...

Uninstall and reinstall did nothing and now I'm down to 14 days remaining on the trial, half my trial time has gone up in smoke. This is not good, I am wondering if anyone else is having this problem?

Remember that in the zoom tool the mouse wheel always zooms rather than scrolling.
