To add--I hit enter too quickly. The only other means is what Gary first mentioned. Which is using macros to lessen the keystrokes. I would further add that one could, using VB or whatever Office is using these days, create a pop-up overlay that works similar to Windows' Charactermap application. Cannot remember what key press involes a macro for a specific glyph or word? No worries. Have ALT-F12 (or whatever) pop up an overlay one can choose the correct glyph/word.

Beyond that, the customer needs a reality check.

    Take care, Mike

Thank Mike. The Japanese use about 300 Kanji characters as opposed to the over 3000 that the Chinese use. I have seen the Japanese keyboards in action with the Kanji and Kana (Kataka and Hiragana glyphs). Most of the Japanese I knew back then preferred the Romanji (Roman a.k.a. UK keyboards) but they used English more than Japanese on the computer.

Well, as I said before, it's just that the customer simply has no idea of the enormity of what they're asking for.

Anyway, thanks for that link. I've contacted them and await a reply.

    Regards,

    Staggers.
