Graphic Audio Control Help

Hi,

I am currently constructing a website for a final year project at Univeristy. It is aimed at a young age group and i am having trouble adding audio files.

I have a basic soccer ball, that has been turned into a cartoon type mascot for the users. I am looking to turn it into a button that then activates some audio as an interactive way on receiving hints and tips on certain aspects. Is this possible? if so, how can i do it?!

Any help would be very much appreciated!
