Do you mean pop up photos and slide shows ?

Yes, Drwyd. Also for HTML page like "Contact Us", "Tell a Friend form" and Ad banner.

You can use popup layers for this effect. If you are using the Premium version of WD7 then you can also add transition effects to the popup.
You'll find this explained in the help file under 'Layers'

Here's a scenario... I have a page that I want to create a video gallery on using links to my Vimeo videos. I want these videos to be embedded in my site and when a thumbnail is clicked, the video pops up in a lightbox. What is your solution to that? Details please and thanks.

My solution is to use 'Video-Lightbox' in Xara as demoed here
