I created a web page in which I post weekly mp3s; however the links do not work in Google Chrome. Firefox and explorer seem to work fine. Is there anything I can do to resolve the issue so the MP3s can be played on all web browsers?

If this is a Xara Web Designer question and you want anything more than guesses, I'd advise you post the URL to your web page and attach your xara file to your post.
just checked again and it appears many of the functions like drop down menus and such are not working in Google Chrome. Is this just a fluke or are there any compatibility issues?
No there are not. Web Designer created pages are fine in all browsers.
But if you want some real help to see why your site isn't working with Chrome, you'll need to post the URL and your file.
One thing I can suggest is you disable all Chrome extension you've installed. Check you page, if it works fine then re-enable each extension one at a time to find the culprit.
I am seeing the same issue for mp3's not playing in Chrome. And in this test example link it is not playing in chrome, ff and ie. Here is an example link and the test file attached.
I supposed you dragged & dropped the .mp3 file onto your .xar web page so that a placeholder with a default audio player was created. If so, please know that the audio player doesn't work locally; you must publish your website online before it will play.
Yes - this is what I did. Another example of the mp3s not working in Chrome can be found at this website: uptown talk .com
On that website the mp3s work in IE and FF but not in Chrome. I have tested it on several pcs with Chrome and it does not play.
Please Advise
Perhaps it is best to submit a support ticket and refer to this thread: http://support.xara.com/
i checked this page
http://uptowntalk.com/aug-4.htm
using FF15, 1E9, Chrome21, Safari5
the only browser with a problem was indeed Chrome where you can press the play button but nothing happens
so i uploaded a test page with nothing but an mp3
http://beretgascon.com/test/ (page created with xdpx)
same result, no sound in Chrome
over to the xara tech support team, I think
