add to favorites script

Does anybody know where to add the script for "add to my favorites" on the menu. Does it go in the URL or the target frame, and does anybody know a script to use. I'm not an html or java writer. I know enough to get me in trouble.

If you google "add to my favorites" you will find sample code and help. You need to edit your page or pages and include the Javascript there. If you are using frames, put the code in the content page but refer to the frameset page (unless you are using 'load my frameset if I'm not in it code' - which is a good idea).

I tried it but it doesn't work. If I put it in the body it works. If I try putting it in the drop down menu it either gives me an error or it goes to a blank page. any other suggestions.
