Hi there

i have downloaded some fonts and fills for WD7Premium and not sure where i can import them?

I have tried the import on xara itself but it gave me the following



( this i tried with a text import - file name: Agilo Handwriting.otf )


I also tried going into the files itself on my computer : "C:\Program Files (x86)\Xara\Xara Web Designer 7 Premium"
but had no luck as there was no folder for fonts and not sure if the other downloads i have for the fill can just be added to the "fills" folder



Please help!!

Cherise fonts must be installed for Windows and not a specific application. Use the Fonts applet within Control Panel to install the fonts you downloaded.

As for the fills put the files into a folder of your choice, a good choice would be a folder within your Documents folder. In Web Designer 7 Premium open the Fill Gallery and use the Disc Fills button to add your folder to the Fill Gallery.

The fills are still not loading on... I even tried making a folder called 'assorted fills' with in the 'fills' folder, but it only loads the other fills that are already there and not the 'assorted' ones that i want...
I also tried to make a 'catindex.txt' within the 'assorted' folder (like the other fills, but changed the names to the fills i wanted to add) and still no luck

Cherise you should not add folders to the Fills folder. If you need to uninstall your Xara application it will remove your folder along with the Xara folders. This is why I recommended putting your folder somewhere within your profile, like your documents folder. Put the downloaded jpg images in your folder.

Open Web Designer Premium and the Fills Gallery. Near the top of the gallery you will find a button named Get disc fills. Click that button. It will open a dialog and the Fills folder will be shown. You must navigate (browse) away from that folder to the folder you created. When you have your folder shown in the dialog you need to click the Add button on the right side of the dialog.
