Meta Tags question

Hi, I was wandering? If I have seperate meta tags for each page in my site, do I leave the "website" tab meta tag box empty and just use the "page" tab for each page? I just want to be sure that if I have something in the "website" tab for title, description and meta tags it will not overwright the individual "page" information? I want to be sure the individualk page info is being picked up.

I think you only have to do the website once. But doing individual tags for the individual pages is an excellent idea.
