facebook widget not appearing

I have tried to put a facebook like box widget on my site. I have gone through the process in the web designer program using the designs gallery widgets. I complete the on line form, click and insert the widget and all that appears is a tiny black square in a placeholder. I tried copying the code into the body of the page, still nothing. I must be a droob because I am missing something simple here. Anybody help me please?

See your widget coding is right or in which have any problem.

I copy and paste the coding from the widget. the button still doesnt appear

Just took the instructions for a test drive and all works as described. You must have missed a step somewhere.

It must be the code. You have to paste both bits of code into the body?
Im following the instructions religiously.

I copy and paste the code directly. Do I need to adjust it?

The two sections of code go in the head and body section.

Code from the widget goes into the place holder "body" and the code from Xara support goes into the place holder "head".
