    WD6 hyperlinking a couple of words hyperlinks the whole text area

    I have been having an intermittent problem with trying to hyperlink a few words in a text area. Xara insists on hyperlinking the whole text area rather than just the few words. Do you know what I could be doing wrong?

    Is your text in a repeating object? If so it's a known bug and one way to workaround is: make a copy text area, edit links, copy and paste edited text back into repeating text area.

    Just found the fix for me. Copy your text in MS Word then back as Rich Text. It worked then.
