    Question Import html back?

Is it possible to import html which was created in XWD? I cannot find the .web file I created for bellangegalleri.com. Is it unevitable to begin from the beginning or is it possible to import not only the images butwhole the site? (The startpage was not made in XWD)

    Hi Hymer,
It is not possible to open HTML files in Xara and have your site layout reconstructed.
You can import the images of course.
Please see GWP's tutorial regarding reconstruction of a web site: ► http://www.xaraxone.com/guest/guest9...orial%201.html

However, have you looked in File>>Open recent>>Backups?

It would be a useful function in the next version.

thing is the program is not an HTML editor, it just generates HTML on export - so it is not simply a question of importing HTML, there are no means within the program to handle HTML itself

[not to say it won't happen one day of course..]

Which wysiwyg-editor is best to understand html-files exported from XWD? Maybe no difference in that aspect? (I didn't try yet)

    Try Blue Griffon: http://bluegriffon.org/
