Photo Gallery HELP

This is beginning to really make me feel stupid!! I'm playing with a simple "test" site in WD7P trial and I added a simple gallery to the page (gallery 6) wich consists of 11 pix in frames. I wanted to add additional pix and frames and could find nothing in the help file.about adding/removing pic and frames. I really thought I had it when I tried selecting the pic and frame (Shift-click both the pic and frame, copy objects and then paste objects) I did this several times and I had 5 copies.

I was congratulating myself UNTIL I clicked on ONE photo and replaced it and the photo in ALL of the new frames were changed!!!

I'm thinking that I'm missing something. It can't be THAT difficult to make a simple gallery with the exact number of photos that I want in it
What if one wants to add additional photos to an existing web site??

Hold CTRL as you drag to replace a photo. Then select the correct option from the popup dialog

DUH!!!! Thanks a BUNCH!! I'm sure all of you are going to get tired of my BASIC questions!
