Problems with text on site

Hi,

I've been using webdesigner for around 6 months without a problem. I've noticed my most recent updates show some areas of text overlapping, jumbled up and not spaced correctly. This is only apparent on my laptop and some other users have noticed this. The website displays fine on my desktop and most other desktops.

Any ideas on this? I'm a bit stuck with this!

Hi Ben-ingy, welcome to TG

There are 3 possibilities for this :-

1. The browser cache needs refreshing [CTRL+F5] - use "Republish changed files only" to reduce this problem.
   
   
2. The browser options have been altered from default, usually minimum font size.
   
   
3. You have changed the scaling of your text by using the selector tool to re-size it rather than the text tool.

I ran into a similar problem with several blocks of text that I had aligned to "justify". I changed the text blocks to left-alignment and the problem went away.
