Is there a way to make a web site width fill the browser window?? Every Xara site that I view has a large blank area on both sides. I would like my pages to be full width

Not possible with WYSYWYG.
Xara sites use modern 'absolute positioning'.

As a comprimise you can set the side areas (pasteboard) to the same colour as your page so the page 'vanishes' leaving your text centred just drag a colour to the blank area and leg go plus you can increase the page width to customise its width under page properties to fill the browser better ( i use 960 pix) but as steve said it will not resize dynamically. Plus you can use picture bg too
