Photo & Graphic Designer's manual not readable on iPad...

Hi I'm a new user and I just wonder why the PDF manual that comes on the Xara CD cannot be read on my iPad2. I have tried both Ibooks and GoodREader. Images and pages display, but the text is rendered as blurry black smudges. It's such a shame since I like to have my documentation beside my screens and use my monitors for palettes and the main window. Is it a problem with my copy and is there a way to get a working PDF? THanks

opening the manual in adobe reader I cannot use find, and 'text' appears not to be selectable - I don't know why this is but it's a pita and may havre something to do with your ipad problem.. maybe someone else will have a solution

I don't know, I use the ipad to read even PDFs that have searchability and printing disabled and it always works. It's the first time ever my iPad fails to read a PDF. I have three PDF reading apps on it and none manages, they all display the blurred text.
