The first draft of my site is up - tks to Gary, John, Frank, Dawyd and all the rest of you that have put up with me and my questions.

Other than now going back and naming everything and setting up the page info, the only problem I see is that the text that comes up from the background on the home page stops just before it re-starts and leaves some of the text on the page for a period of time.

Just a couple of things you might want to re-visit.

That black is a bit stark.
The red text on grey is difficult to read (for me anyway)
The animated text is slow and stuttering on first load (use CTRL+f5 to see it as a first time visitor)

Tks, Drwyd - it is a start with a long way to go - only two of the pages of text are complete, the rest is just getting thoughts on paper, so to speak, and go back and re-do it. Also, a lot of information to gather as well.

I agree about the colors - I picked black to highlight the orange of the firebox. I was going to use some transparency but some of the pages are so long that it didn't make sense to do so. I think maybe yellow for the text on the gray - the white didn't show up very well. Don't know what could be done with the animated text on the home page.
