We put up our Christmas tree today, and I took a couple of photos of some vintage ornaments we have.

They are real beauties Frances. I hope you will be careful with them.

    Very beautiful, Frances.
But, you have reminded me that we lost a very precious Christmas Ornament, some years ago.

It was a half-moon. I was hanging it up and it slipped out of my hand. Of course, it had to fall on the only hard thing that it could have landed on.
Lynn was very brave in saying that it didn't matter, when I know that it mattered a lot.
Years later, it still comes up in conversation!

    Thanks Larry and Rik,

Rik: I know how you feel about the ornament, I did something similar only it was a vase. I had two vases sitting on the counter beside each other, one was an expensive crystal bud vase that was a wedding gift, the other was a little glass vase I paid about 3 dollars for. I dropped something on the counter and it bounced and guess which vase it hit and knocked to the floor!
