Guyke, did you try rendering this scene in Blender Cycles.

I didn't. For one reason other other, Cycles is not my thing. I tried out a number of things, but it never really worked for me, so after a few trials (read: failures) I gave up and returned to Blenders internal renderer.

I'm still doing most of my playing in Blender Internal until they get the bugs out (ie. full feature set added) for Cycles.
