Help with PHP Calendar

Greetings community, and thank you in advance for your time. I would like to begin by saying I am very pleased with the user-friendly nature of Xara Web, and the support of the online community. I look forward to helping out as well. Just finished my first site, and I am having a bit of an issue using a third party bit of script;

I am trying to get the free Vcalendar to work with my site, made with Xara 7 Premium.

Vcalendar's script, free, does work. I was able to install it and upload it to mysite/vcalendar_php/

To view, I have to navigate to mysite/vcalendar_php/index.php

Unfortunately, this opens a page with strictly the calendar, without the framework for my site. I tried to create a rectangle and use it as a placeholder, but I had to put in HTML, not a link to the calendar.php page.

I have tried editing the .../.../index.html page (which is referenced as the "style page" in the .../.../index.php page) and copying the folder "index.html files" folder to that directory, but to no successful end. The page consistently displays the exact same.

Is this because Xara uses stylesheets and .css files instead of strait HTML code? Is what I want to do possible in Xara?
