    Great ones all!

Here's a few I took yesterday even though it was hazy and heavy fog came in.
Sunset Bay area, Cape Arago lighthouse, seals far out on a bit of hazy island -- Simpson Reef -- (I could hear them barking but only could glimpse them through the telephoto 12x plus 1.7x combined).

Thanks guys! I went with the haze in the seal pic since that was part of the scheme of things = the weather mode of the day throughout, so I didn't raise the contrast more as Mike has -- I like both versions though. The haze created the soft blue tones in the rock cliff behind the seals which I thought looked interesting in tones, almost painterly.

The tree hanging horizontally off the cliff in the first shot looked amazing to me -- defying all the odds nature threw at it. Surviving and waving at us -- see, here I am still!

In the devastation of Hurricane Katrina my thoughts go out to all those of the area....and in the hopes that they can defy the odds, like that tree, and survive through it all...
