John 108 degrees ?
Well that is a normal cool day here in the Arizona summer in the desert, but we only have like 9 percent humidity. And most every place and all cars have Air conditioning. We are supposed to hit 115 this week.
Here are the Superstition Mountains, only about a 30 minute drive from my house. HOt and Dry.

I have little Lizards all around the house here in the yard. I see them in the trees and climbing on the yard brick walls. The dogs like to chase them http://www.talkgraphics.com/images/smilies/smile.gif I will have to try to get me some Lizard shots.

Nice picture Mikey, slimy, subject, but good shot.
http://www.talkgraphics.com/images/smilies/biggrin.gif The other foggy morning here I heard the quorking and chattering conversations of ravens outside -- I went outdoors hoping to catch a glimpse of these very elusive birds and spotted one of them far off across the valley on the top of a very tall dead tree. I knew he wouldn't be there long so I just took a quick snapshot of him with my 12X zoom on the Sony H1. The first pic below shows the scale right out of the camera. The second one I did what I could to enlarge the raven portion so you could see it a bit better. He/she had a bit of the purplish/greenish sheen but also the head feathers were a bit drab so I think it may have been a young one. He stayed put only for this one shot and flew off and around then coming back was joined by 3 others and they flew off into the misty morning. http://www.talkgraphics.com/images/smilies/biggrin.gif
The shots aren't great ones, but it was still neat for me to see them and catch one. http://www.talkgraphics.com/images/smilies/biggrin.gif
