Import resolution of images - choice no longer showing up

Xara Web Designer used to ask me:

"This image is very high resolution. Do you want to import at a reduced file size?"

and I could choose "import reduced", "import original", or "help".

It no longer asks me and automatically imports the images reduced. I cannot find how to get the choice to appear again. I tried restarting my computer but it did not help.

Do you know how?

Hi Monica. In the Help menu > Reset Info Popups > Turn all on, if you are using Web Designer 6. If you are using Web Designer 7 it will be Help Menu > Info Popups > Turn all on.

I clicked on "turn all on" but it still optimizes them when I drop the images on (WD7). I also tried closing the program and re-opening after I turned on the info popups. No luck. I must be missing something?

Perhaps it would work if you close WD and then run it as administrator and then Help menu > Reset ... etc. This should re set the registry key and you'll get the popup again

I am sorry, how do I run it as the administrator?

Right click on the icon and left click "Run as administrator" :-)
