alt + 0169 not working for copyright symbol

the windows method of alt + 0169 not working for copyright symbol. It works just fine for other software open at the same time as web design - using 7 premium.

New user here...any clues?

Hi Stones, what font are you using? Not all fonts have symbols like ©.

Ah Ha! Using ARiel....thought that should work. But I'll look into it now.

edited...tried all the windows safe fonts and tried disabling aero in Win 7 64 bit pro. No luck.

In Xara ... ctrl+alt+c

Both methods work fine for me with the Arial font. For the alt+0169 method you must use the number key pad and make sure to have num lock on.

Thanks everyone...ctrl+alt+c works just fine. MUch appreciated neodeist. I do have the pad and num lock on and it works for other software open at the same time but not xara....hmmm.

That is very odd Stones, it works for me in Windows 7 64bit. However it is spelled Arial on my system.
