    xdp6 world globe

    Hi guys,
    I need a big favor can someone tell me how to make this world globe to turn like a real world globe, can I do this with xara designer pro 7 or swish max 4.

    whichever program you use you are going to need to draw the continents in, unless you have them to hand in a suitable projection

    just to give you an idea of what can be done have a look at mike's [simsmj] avatar here:

    done in xara 3d with xara xtreme/designer I believe, but mike would have to confirm that

    yeah, it's easy with the mould tool in Designer Pro

    This is what I have come up with so far. I'm not at all satisfied with the result and I know I have got the mould wrong but I have run out of time to correct it. I may have time over the chrizmuzz period



    it's completely vector, I couldn't find a vector world map that was sufficiently detailed so i drew my own, i'll leave it in the clipart forum for anybody who wants a free bit of geography clipart
