Desktop Icons

Whenever I load new or renewed pages to my web site all the pages appear as icons on my desktop I then spend ages moving to recycle bin

This is because when you are asked to save your work, you are saving to your desktop. You can do this but create a folder and save to the folder. Then all the file icons will be saved to this folder which if you wish, you can delete.

I have been saving in the folder intro sub folder of Xara

Well the only way the icons could appear on your desktop is if you accidentally publish to your desktop and not to a specific folder, on your desktop or anywhere else.
