Trouble uploading site

Hi,

I love the XARA webdesign program. I am publishing my first site. I got ftp info, user name, etc. saved file to my c drive and then hit upload, but it is not showing up on url (I cleared my cache and tried in another browser). Does it make a difference as to what name I saved the file under? Also, I didn't use a subfolder... would that matter?

If anyone can tell me what I am doing wrong would be most grateful?

See if your ISP provider, whomever that might be, has an ftp client in their list of management tools for you. If so, login to that so you can look at the root file for your site. Make sure your index.htm (or index.html) is listed on the servers root directory. If you uploaded the folder with everything in it, your index.htm page may not be getting accessed since it needs to be at the root directory level. Or the other possibility is that the ftp just didn't work. Maybe listing your ISP provider here will help someone to be able to help you better. Thanks
