    Question Move multiple points together?

I have 4 lines on which there are multiple points for each. I want to select one point on each line and move them together. Is there any way to do this in Xara Designer Pro 6?

The only way to do it is to select each node individually with the shape editor tool and move them manually. If you move an end node over the end node of another selected line you can join the lines.

I believe I know what you're trying to do - but first select all the lines and hit ctl-J (join shapes) - after that, you can do what you're trying.

Hi gradin, you have to select the objects first, then then select points want with the "shape editor" tool.

Shift+click will add points to your selection, you can also select with a crossing window.

Click+drag any point and they will all move together.

The arrow tool can also be used to nudge them.

Thumbs up Re: Move multiple points together?

Thanks, Marc! That's exactly what I needed to do here.

For those following this thread, I didn't want to join the lines because that "flattens" their properties to a single shape. I needed to retain each line's color in this case:
