Web Designer links to xara

my website has links that are set up properly to pages in the website - when it is previewed it works - live it reverts back to the links linking to xara.

2nd problem - a few of the pages come up in preview fine - but live come up as html code?

any ideas?

Are you working from a template?

As a short-sighted shortcut, Xara placed some rectangles behind the navigation buttons that link to the Xara.com site. But they forgot to tell us to remove them.

If this is the case, then switch to outlines view (Window > Quality > Outlines) and see if you can see a rectangle behind the navigation bar. If so, select it, then delete it.

As for your second problem, I have not experienced this before. However, when you publish your site you have to publish the whole site. That is to say, you cannot make revisions to one page and then just replace that page.

If you are publishing your site from within Web Designer then you can check Re-Publish Changed Files Only, which does just that.

The other possible cause is the page has not been refreshed in your browser. Press F5 or Ctrl F5 to force the page to reload.
