    Default Exporting in PDF

I have Web Designer 7 Premium and am looking at Photo & Graphic Designer to replace my Corel Draw X13. It says I can export in pdf from P&G Designer but I can't find the link, is that because it's only available in the Designer Pro version.

    Help would be appreciated

    Hi Peter

P&GD7 has export to PDF but it does not have PDF-X export ability which is in the Pro version.

I see what you're saying Bill but pdf is not in that list on my machine and I don't know how to get a pic with the menu open as my snipping tool closes the menu

If the option is not in your export list that indicates the dll file for pdf has not registered correctly.

Which version of Windows are you using? Is it 32bit or 64bit?

Copy the below code and save it as regpdfdll.bat on your system.

    Open an Administrator Command Prompt:

Click the Start button and type Command in the search text box. Command Prompt will be one of the search results. Right click Command Prompt and select Run as administrator.

In the Command Prompt go to where you saved the batch file and type it's name at the command prompt and hit enter. If all goes well this should register the dll file on your system. You will need to close and restart P&GD7 if you did not have it already closed.

    Code:
    CD \windows\syswow64\
    regsvr32 "C:\Program Files (x86)\Xara\Xara_Photo_Graphic_Designer_7\Filters\PDFFilter\PDFFilter.dll"
    cd \

    Hello Bill
I liked the software so much I bought the full Designer Pro 7 but I still have the same problem as before where I do not have an export to pdf option.

I tried the text shown at the command prompt but changed it to Designer_Pro_7
    Hope you can help
